What is the Rotary
Festival of Trees?
The Rotary Festival of Trees is a community-focused event hosted annually by the
Rotary Clubs of Orillia and Orillia-Lake Country.
This year we celebrate the 9th anniversary of the Rotary Festival of Trees.
Take a walk through Orillia Square Mall or Downtown Orillia during the week of
November 22 to 28 and enjoy the splendour of professionally decorated Christmas
trees and wreaths sponsored by local individuals, businesses and organizations.
And, while youre at it, buy a raffle ticket and try your luck at winning one of
these wonderful creations in addition to many other major prizes generously
donated by local businesses.
In addition to viewing the tree viewing, this years Festival of Trees features
a number of special events, including:
Black Tie Gala Dinner and Silent Auction at Fern Resort on
Friday, November 19, 2010
Local Celebrity Luncheon
Fashion Show on Wednesday, November 24, 2010
Teddy Bear Breakfast on Saturday, November 28, 2010
Gingerbread House Competition

How does the Rotary
Festival of Trees benefit our community?
Through the efforts of a fleet of volunteers and wonderful sponsors and with the
support of the community, the funds raised through the Festival of Trees have
supported local and international non-profit organizations and programs. Over
the past 8 years, this event has now cumulatively netted more than $560,000!
How can I get involved?
Local businesses, community organizations and individuals can get involved in a
variety of ways, including:
buying tickets to one or more of the Festival of Trees
events
sponsoring a decorated tree or wreath
becoming a Major Sponsor of the Festival of Trees
sponsoring a specific Festival of Trees Event
donating prizes for the Festival of Trees raffle or Gala silent auction
sponsoring a table at the Gala or Celebrity Luncheon
